Stage
1 - Briefing
As
part of my service I offer an initial no obligation consultation
to interested parties.

initial consultation also serves to offer an insight into specific
approaches

Decide on the
number of Sittings
If
at this stage the client wishes to proceed with a commission and
has a good idea of size and or budge an indication
as to the number of sittings required and the time span involved can usually be given.
Alternatively compositions can be tailored to suit a budget outlined
from the outset.
Usually
at this point it is customary to ask for an advance which, depending
upon the value of the painting, is either 1/3 or 1/2 of the overall
fee.
Depending
upon the outcome of the first meeting I will either arrange a
return visit

selecting a few suitable compositions I visit or supply the sitter
and commissioner

Once
advice has been given and a suitable composition

Stage
2 -
Sittings
Initially
the painting is drawn up from the working rough drawing

If
sittings are to be set in busy surroundings, a work place for
instance

Time
between sittings back at the studio is very important to me.

3 - Unveiling
Once
I feel that I have produced a concise and finalised solution for
the painting
